Conquered Camelback

After nearly two years of living in AZ, we finally got around to hiking  Camelback Mountain!

It's 1300 ish ft in elevation and over a mile and a half to the top

Here we thought we were almost there. No big deal! 

BUT WE WEREN'T EVEN HALF WAY!

We were gone for 3 hours and came home sunburnt with tired and achy legs.

All in all we had a great relaxing weekend outdoors.

It was HARD but we finally did it!!

Happiness

Despite being sick at the start of the week, it's been pretty good. Here are a few things that make me SO HAPPY this week:

1. The beautiful flowers that Jay got me for Valentine's day (my first roses ever)

2. The delicious cakes we just finished up - they're so delicious!

3. All the crafts I've found and can't wait to start. We will finally have a decorated apartment!

4. Watching Jay and Uley run up hills to chase jackrabbits and birds

5. The beautiful perfect weather we've been having lately

6. The extremely nice people we've been running into lately. We've never had good experiences with nice people in AZ and now they're everywhere!

7. The less than 20 DAY countdown to Europe!

8. Real ice cream in a waffle cone on a sunny day

9. Spending the morning hiking a mountain and enjoying outside

10. My new Call of Duty game that I love to play!

HEY GUYS! ME AGAIN - THE U-LINATOR!

Mom & Dad left me at the dog place for EVER. I don't know if it was a few hours or years, but i'm so glad they're back! I missed them so much, and I have to make up for lost time so I never leave their side now and bug them 24/7. They can't get rid of me - no way no sir!

but I did have lots of fun at the dog place. I played with lots of dogs all the time and made so many friends! and the people gave me my delicious treats and it was so much fun! i'm glad mom & dad are back though

DISNEY WORLD

We're back. We had the absolute best & most perfect vacation ever. It was difficult leaving - I think the only reason we came back was to get Uley (at least for me). 

This week:

we met Lightening McQueen & Mater

Channeled our inner Goofy ( Jay's Fave)

Went to Magic Kingdom

Tried Butterbeer & Pumpkin Juice (both ABSOLUTELY delicious)

Saw all the AWESOMENESS of Harry Potter

Ate horrible, delicious food

Jay gave his presentation, the whole reason we were there. And doesn't he look good?! :)

Shopped at Downtown Disney

Had the most amazing meal we've ever had at the resort

Went to Epcot

Went to Animal Kingdom

got tired

then happy real quick !

decided we needed more pictures

so i helped a brotha' out

& had the most wonderful time at our resort, the Coronado Springs.

Then sadly had to fly home, but not before we got more pictures of course!

We also went to Hollywood Studios, but I was so excited to be there I forgot to take any pictures ):

The place was absolutely beautiful. Slightly humid, cool, comfortable, GREEN, had lots of water! We can't wait to move to the east coast. Something about it over there - we just can't wait to go back! 

Disney so perfectly caters to your every need - the trip couldn't of been any easier and more relaxing, despite walking around parks with children and parents all day long.

We missed Uley SO MUCH though. It was so hard leaving him, but he was excited to be there. He ate, he made friends, he played allllll the time. We got nothing but great reviews from the people there about him. Since we've gotten back he's been super clingy - but it just makes cuddling that much easier :)

Since we've taken this vacation, everything has gotten back to being easy and relaxing. I think all of our karma is catching up with us as well. We were able to get two days out of an old ticket my mom had when we weren't even sure they would work. Also a stranger gave us their fast passes one day to a ride! We're newly motivated to workout harder & school doesn't seem as overwhelming. We really needed that break.

5 weeks to Europe now! The countdown begins!

It's finally here!!

Tomorrow we're going to - DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

IT'S FINALLY HERE!

I'm so excited, I think for the past 3 weeks i've been counting down to this moment. Over the weekend I tried to hurry through to day so I could go to bed and wake up one day closer to leaving

The only downside about leaving is boarding Uley of course. Poor baby doesn't know it's even coming. i feel so bad. He comes to cuddle in the morning or randomly during the day and it breaks my heart ): we took him to daycare last weekend and he was so exhausted when he came home. hopefully that means he'll be okay without us for 5 days.

Uley has been extra adorable with his bone lately. He carries it everywhere. When Jay & I are on the floor he moves it around so we can conveniently hold it for him, and if we don't he whacks us with it (not so convenient). 

in the meantime, i've got so much to do. I have to pack, clean, charge my camera, get new iPod songs.

Can't wait to write about all the greatness that happened in Florida!
